DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an outstanding candidate for a Masters /PhD Scholarship with a project relating to prostate cancer.
The project will fund a full time/part time scholarship based at Flinders University (principal supervisor Associate Professor Michael O’Callaghan). The scholarship will allow close interaction with the Urology Unit of Flinders Medical Centre, and the South Australian Prostate Cancer Clinical Outcomes Collaborative (SA-PCCOC). SA-PCOCC manages the South Australian Prostate Cancer Registry, has an established track record of research and hosts a cohort of successful postgraduate students. Candidates are required to be clinically qualified (eligible for AHPRA registration) and aspiring or established surgeons are encouraged to apply.
BENEFITS and TENURE
The scholarship includes:
a stipend value will depend on the degree taken.
Masters – up to $45,000* per annum (pro-rata, 2021 rate) tax free.
PhD – up to $30,000 per annum (pro-rata, 2021 rate) tax free.
The scholarship duration will depend on the degree taken.
Masters – 2 years full time, 4 years part time
PhD – 3 years full time, 6 years part time
a Research Training Program Fee Offset Scholarship to cover tuition fees for Australian Citizens, NZ Citizens and Permanent Residents.
