To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Centre is highlighting some of the fantastic women of men’s health that have been supported by the Centre and are achieving great work in the field. FCMHW encourages and commends the involvement of women in men’s health and hopes to further support it in the future.
This research program aims to advance our understanding of how migrant fathers navigate and negotiate their decisions about work and care in Australia. It is envisaged this project will be scaled to national contexts and potentially other vulnerable groups of fathers over the longer term, to inform policy and practice.

The responsibilities of fatherhood start well before conception. Our research examines the biology of how disease risk is transferred via sperm and use this knowledge to develop tests of risk and interventions targeting men at the family planning stage.
