This study is being undertaken by researchers at the Freemasons Centre for Male Health and Wellbeing at the University of Adelaide, the Robinson Research Institute, CSIRO and SAHMRI.
Men aged 18-50 years who are overweight are being sought for a 12-week Adelaide-based study that is examining the effect of a 12 week dietician-guided nutrient-dense diet on sperm quality.
The study involves Dietician consultations, providing an ejaculate sample on 2 occasions over 4 months, blood pressure and body composition measurement, providing a blood sample and completion of a healthy lifestyle survey.
Participants will receive a free semen analysis and up to $150 Coles-Myer gift vouchers for their time.
